Men's Minnesota Golden Gophers Hockey 2026 Fan Version Jersey - Maroon
Tailgate, tip-off, final whistle - this Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey is built for the whole arc of a 2026 Saturday. In short: Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey for men in the fan version build, 2026.
Quick facts
- Lettering bonded flat, so the back bends with the fabric
- The Minnesota Golden Gophers design carried over whole - colours, crest and trim layout
Minnesota Golden Gophers fan version, stripped of the hype
It is a replica-grade Minnesota Golden Gophers supporter shirt: correct colours, correct crest placement, softer knit, roomier body.
Why hockey jerseys are heavier
On the Minnesota Golden Gophers version, the fabric weight is deliberate: an ice rink is cold and the shirt is designed to be worn over something.
Lettering that reads from the back row
Names and numbers are applied at full size in the correct typeface for the Minnesota Golden Gophers design, so they are legible from the far side of a stand.
Two ways to buy the same shirt
- Buy it as kit: firmer, tighter, more expensive, worn to play.
- Buy it as clothing: softer, roomier, cheaper, worn to watch.
- Both carry the Minnesota Golden Gophers colours exactly as the design specifies.
The version question, answered
The tier on this listing is the fan version one. Read that as a statement about fabric and grading, not about the design - the colours and crest are the same across the range.
Shoulders are the measurement people get wrong: for supporters the seam should sit on the shoulder bone, not past it.
