Youth #1 Michigan Wolverines Hockey 2026 Fan Version Jersey - Black
Quick answer: Michigan Wolverines colours, fan version construction, made for young supporters, 2026.
The highlights
- On the fabric: 100% Polyester knit with a flat, matte finish
- Michigan Wolverines colourway matched to the reference palette, not a near-enough shade
What you feel against the Michigan Wolverines match shirt
Against the Michigan Wolverines match shirt: a softer hand-feel, more give through the chest and shoulders, and a hem that does not ride up when you sit down.
Why hockey jerseys are heavier
For the Michigan Wolverines build, the fabric weight is deliberate: an ice rink is cold and the shirt is designed to be worn over something.
Graded down, not scaled down
On this Michigan Wolverines shirt, scaling an adult block by a percentage gives a child a shirt with the wrong sleeve and a collar that gapes.
Replica build against match build
- Replica build: softer knit, easier grading, made for repeated washing.
- Match build: firmer fabric, athletic grading, premium price.
- Crest, colours and trim layout are identical across both.
The version question, answered
For clarity: fan version. The colourway and crest are unchanged from the team design; the difference lives in the knit and the grading.
The grade runs true for young fans. Between two sizes, the larger one gives a relaxed fit and the smaller one sits close to the body.
