Youth #1 Minnesota Golden Gophers Basketball 2026 Lightweight Fan Version Jersey - Black
Short version: Minnesota Golden Gophers jersey in the fan version cut, for young supporters, 2026.
Why supporters pick this one
- Cold wash, hang dry, back in the rotation - nothing delicate about it
- Heat-sealed crest and trim, flat and flexible
The Minnesota Golden Gophers fan version, honestly explained
This is the Minnesota Golden Gophers supporter build.
Built for a child's week
Across the Minnesota Golden Gophers range, children do not treat shirts gently, and this one is made for that: a knit that survives a cold wash, seams that do not split at the shoulder, and a crest that stays put after a term of wear.
Why the armhole is cut that way
An open armhole looks like a style choice and is not: it is what lets the Minnesota Golden Gophers basketball build move with the wearer instead of against them.
Reading the tier, not the marketing
- Tier names describe construction, not accuracy of the design.
- A supporter build is a faithful Minnesota Golden Gophers shirt in easier fabric.
- A match build is a piece of kit, cut for the people wearing it in play.
Version and sizing, plainly
Expect a fan version build here - supporter-facing fabric, the same team colours and badge detail, and none of the stiffness that comes with a closer athletic cut.
Order the size you normally wear for a close-but-comfortable fit for young fans; go one up only if you plan to layer underneath.
