Why supporters pick the Marquette Golden Eagles fan version
The Marquette Golden Eagles fan version is the supporter-facing cut: the same colours and crest as the on-field design, with a softer fabric, a more forgiving fit and a much friendlier price.
Why the armhole is cut that way
An open armhole looks like a style choice and is not: it is what lets the Marquette Golden Eagles basketball build move with the wearer instead of against them.
Small shirt, same design
Nothing about the Marquette Golden Eagles design is simplified here.
Fan version vs on-field version
- Fan version: softer knit, roomier fit, lower price.
- On-field version: closer cut, firmer fabric, premium price.
- Team colours and crest are the same on both.
The build on this listing
The fan version tier is the honest middle of the range: close enough to the on-field design to read correctly from the stands, comfortable enough to keep on afterwards.
Sizes run consistent across the Marquette Golden Eagles range, so if you own one already the same letter will fit the same way.
