Youth Houston Cougars Basketball 2026 Lightweight Fan Version Jersey - Black
In short: a fan version Houston Cougars jersey for young supporters, 2026.
What is on the shirt
- Finish: 100% Polyester knit with a flat, matte finish
- Hem cut long enough to stay put when you sit down in the stands
Why the Houston Cougars fan version sells
Most Houston Cougars supporters want the colours, not the tighter athletic cut.
Why basketball jerseys feel different
In the Houston Cougars cut, the game is played indoors at pace, so the build trades fabric weight for ventilation - a lighter knit, a freer armhole and a hem that hangs long without being tucked.
Graded down, not scaled down
In the Houston Cougars cut, scaling an adult block by a percentage gives a child a shirt with the wrong sleeve and a collar that gapes.
Which one supporters actually keep
- Most supporters end up wearing the supporter build more often.
- It washes, it layers and it does not need care after a match.
- The Houston Cougars design reads the same from the stand either way.
How this version is cut
This listing is the fan version build - the tier chosen for wearing rather than collecting. Colours and crest match the design; the fabric and the fit are tuned for a long Saturday.
If you normally take a medium in sports tops, take a medium here. Layering is the only reason to move up a size for young fans.
