What arrives in the parcel
- A sublimated print that will not crack or peel
- Trim and crest placed to the reference design, not approximated
Why this ECU Pirates tier is the usual pick
Between the ECU Pirates supporter cut and the player-issue cut there is a large price gap and a small visual one.
Tailgate to fourth quarter
In the ECU Pirates cut, the football day is longer than the game.
Graded down, not scaled down
On the ECU Pirates design, scaling an adult block by a percentage gives a child a shirt with the wrong sleeve and a collar that gapes.
Supporter build against match build
- Supporter build: knitted for comfort, graded for ordinary bodies.
- Match build: engineered for ninety minutes of contact.
- ECU Pirates colours, crest and trim placement are identical on both.
How this version is cut
The tier on this listing is the fan version one. Read that as a statement about fabric and grading, not about the design - the colours and crest are the same across the range.
Sizes here follow a standard athletic grade for young fans. Compare the chest measurement on the size guide rather than your usual high-street letter.
